Joel Escalona 1986

Joel Escalona graduated with a degree of Industrial Design (2008) from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Azcapotzalco, one of the most important Universities in Mexico City. His studio designs award winning products, working with with several companies in America.

Escalona´s work is inspired by cultural folklore and storytelling. His style is singularly unusual, and is characterized by his clever use of materials and engagingly novel use of planes.

He has exhibited at design fairs and exhibitions worldwide, including Maison&Objet, and ICFF
