The Le Corbusier Grande and Petite Confort sofas are the epitome of French modern classic design. Created for the 1929 Salon d�Automne, the same year as the design of the Barcelona Chair. The collection includes both the petite and the grand three seat sofa, two seat sofa, (loveseat) and lounge chair.

The Grand comfort armchair and sofa, were designed by Le Corbusier in collaboration with Charlotte Perriand. Inspired by the classic club chair, and library sofa, they sought to design a stylish modern interpretation of those forms for the modernist era. The armchairs and sofas that they designed, retain the aura of comfort and luxury implicit in the old classics, but with more panache, and joie de vivre perhaps.
