A singular expression of personal style. The Barcelona X Chair and ottoman have come to represent the best of the Bauhaus design movement. Much more than just furniture, it is functional art.

This exceptional piece of modern leather furniture, offers a unique synthesis of good taste and luxury. Designed by Mies Van Der Rohe in 1929 for an international design fair in Barcelona.

It is said to have been inspired by both the folding chairs of the Pharaohs, and the 'X' shaped footstools of the Romans, and dedicated to the Spanish royal family. Understandably the Barcelona X chair earned a reputation as a design worthy of kings.

This ottoman is exquisitely and meticulously manufactured with genuine top grain Italian leather around multi- density foam fillings. The frame is made of the highest quality hand polished stainless steel.

Please note the excellent craftsmanship of the leather upholstery work. It consists of individual leather panels, each piece is cut and hand-sewn with attentive detail.
