The seat angle should always be adjustable:

Prevents sitting with a hunched back
Conducive to an upright position for pelvis and spine ("lordotic curve")

Seat suspension
Even in its lowest position, the seat surface should have a suspension depth of at
least 0.4". this is ensured this by means of a pneumatic spring with rubber
dampening. The impact which occurs when sitting down on the seat in its lowest
position is absorbed and the strain on the inter-vertebral discs is relieved.
Seat depth adjustment

Seat depth adjustment (sliding seat) is ergonomically recommendable to enable
individual adaptation to different thigh lengths, particularly for tall people.
Backrest shape and backrest height adjustment

Anatomical shaping of the backrest contours in longitudinal and transverse
directions and optimum adaptation to users of different sizes and proportions are
important in order to ensure that the backrest affords full support. The backrest
then effectively relieves the strain on the back muscles and inter-vertebral discs.
