Materials: Hand-tufted & carved in modified acrylic.

Acrylic is lightweight, soft, and warm, with a wool-like feel.
It dyes very well and has excellent colorfastness.
It is resilient, retains its shape, and resists shrinkage and wrinkles.

Modified acrylic is acrylic yarn that has been specially treated to meet
US flammability requirements under the US Consumer Products Safety Commission,
Office of Compliance, Section 16 C.F.R.
Encompassing the qualities of regular, untreated acrylic, Modified acrylic has a key significant
difference. it will not pill or shed. It is not shiny and does not look "synthetic".

Our Festival Rugs are sound absorbent as they are approximately 3/4" pile thick.
A rubber or foam underlay 4 - 6" smaller than the rug itself is beneficial
as it prolongs the life of the rug and also provides further sound insulation.
